Inspire provides employment opportunities and life skills training for adults with developmental disabilities in Central Florida.

The Kathleen Anderson Comprehensive Work Program 501 (c)(3) was formed in 1979 and now utilizes the dba/Inspire of Central Florida. For the past 35+ years Inspire of Central Florida has been a staple in the Seminole County community providing services to the most vulnerable citizens in the Central Florida area. We provide vocational, educational, and community based employment training to adults 2

2 years of age and older with developmental disabilities. We have been helping our clients achieve regular, productive employment since 1980. We believe in the dignity of our clients and the value of their efforts.

💙 Meet Our Inspire Staff! 💙

Next up in our staff spotlight series is Roger, our Facilities Technician and Woodshop Supervisor!

Roger joined the Inspire family in 2025 and has quickly become an important part of our team. In addition to helping keep our facilities running smoothly, Roger supervises our specialists in the Woodshop, where they work together to create products such as surveyor's stakes. He also helps transport our specialists and is always willing to lend a hand wherever he's needed.

Roger brings a wealth of experience to Inspire. He is a retired military veteran with six years of active-duty Navy service, 13 years in the Navy Reserve, and five years in the Air Force Reserve. He holds bachelor's degrees in Industrial Technology and Accountancy and has worked in a variety of fields, including the recreational vehicle industry, education, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and architectural woodworking. Before joining Inspire, Roger also spent many years working as a substitute teacher. His passion for helping others has continued to be an important part of his work with our specialists.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Inspire, Roger shared that he loves helping others and working with our specialists. He also appreciates that "no two days are the same here," which keeps every day interesting!

We're grateful for the experience, dedication, and heart Roger brings to Inspire.

🦈🌊 Diving into learning! 🌊🦈
Our specialists had a fin-tastic time exploring the wonders of the ocean! As part of our lesson, everyone created their own shark hats and proudly showed off their ocean-inspired creations.
Hands-on activities like these make learning fun while encouraging creativity, following directions, fine motor skills, and social interaction. Most importantly, they give our specialists the opportunity to learn, laugh, and make memories together.
We think these sharks are absolutely jaw-some! 🦈💙
