We had a very small group today as some of our volunteers were at the celebration of life service for one of our church members, but the Lord still blessed it! We had 3 people listening from their front doors, as well as one of our regulars who came out with her children. Another woman stopped by and said she had been praying for a church that preaches the Word, and our being there gave her chills. She said she is feeling convicted of living in sin with her boyfriend and knows she needs to get right before God. Please keep her in your prayers as she agreed that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

As always, thankful for our amazing volunteers who give up their Saturday mornings to serve and reach the lost ❤️

Today was another great day to be serving the Lord!
Our faithful group of volunteers gathered this beautiful morning to provide a hot meal and God's love with our local community.
We served fresh fried chicken from Publix along with some wonderful sides provided by our awesome team.
We had a beautiful song of praise and worship sung by Lee.
God provided the right words to Russ as he shared a message from God's Word. Afterwards, he had the opportunity to explain what will take place at the rapture according to what is written in the book of Revelation to a young teenager.

We had a wonderful Christmas party this evening! We served soup and chili, and the children decorated cookies, made crafts, and were given 2 gifts each from some friends from another church who wanted to be a blessing to our community. We ended the night by singing Christmas carols. All in all it was a wonderful celebration and time of fellowship. Thank you to all of our volunteers, from cooking, setting up, serving, doing crafts, giving gifts, singing, and of course praying. YOU make the difference!

Merry Christmas!

Our cup runneth over!!

Today was our annual Thanksgiving Outreach Event and this year was the best we've had so far. I'm not quite sure just how many people we served today, but it was A LOT. We ran out of regular serving plates (there were 60 platter-sized plates), used up almost all of the styrofoam trays and had to resort to using some of the heavy-duty to-go containers. This showed that we were able to feed A LOT of individuals.

There were plenty of helpers, from setting up, serving food and cleaning up. We were able to send some leftovers home with one of the families that attend our outreach events so that she could feed them.

We definitely didn't lack food. Turkey, ham, roast pork, and a variety of sides, including mac n cheese, veggies, mashed potatoes, and more. We even had some baked beans (they are great with roast pork). Pies and cookies and cupcakes. Of course, a southern staple...banana pudding.

We are so blessed to have an amazing group of people to serve alongside with for these events. It's their desire to serve and their heart to take care of those in need that make outreach events like this a success.

And...of course, we have to thank our heavenly Father for blessing us today. Russ was able to deliver a message sharing God's Word and really highlighting thankfulness and God's goodness to those in attendance.

With God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). It's because of God that today was possible.

Thank you to all those who prayed, cooked, came out and served in any capacity, and also to those who wanted to be there today but the trials of life held them back for one reason or another. God sees your sacrifice and He receives it unto Himself. Great is your reward, it does not go unnoticed. We appreciate you all so much. Thank you ❤️

It was a wonderful day serving the Lord! The temps were not too bad and we were blessed with shade in the area we typically set up!!

To make things even better, we had a pizza party for the current residents at the hotel! Domino's Pizza in Longwood did a great job preparing our order and we had plenty to hand out. We had a nice salad to serve alongside the pizza and a variety of treats, including some fresh fruit.

One of our young volunteers was able to have a little fun with a couple of the kids that reside here, tossing a football to each other.

As always, Russ delivered a strong message from the Bible and had the attention of those in attendance. Amongst those was a newly married couple who are visiting from China and on their honeymoon. They booked a room at the motel by accident. Of course we know there are no accidents and God orchestrated this encounter so they could hear the Gospel! They were so happy to take a Bible and said that they will have to leave it behind when they return home because it is illegal there. Please pray for them.

There were a bunch of new faces today and we made sure to let them know how much God loved them while we ministered to them through food and God's Word. One gentleman even came back as we were getting ready to drive out just to thank us again. He said he was really caught off guard by the kindness and love we all showed to him and it really touched his heart.

Our volunteers, as always, did a great job and it's a huge blessing to be able to serve alongside them at our outreach events.

It was a beautiful day today as we served side-by-side sharing the Gospel and a hearty lunch. We served fresh fried chicken with baked beans, potato salad, rice, mac n cheese, a healthy tossed salad, along with some fresh fruit and snacks. We made sure no one left with an empty tummy.

There was praise and worship through music, with the children each singing a song. Russ gave a message about free will and though we have free will we still must face the consequences of our actions.

While many of our volunteers were missing (for a variety of reasons), the Lord made sure we had plenty of hands to take care of those who came to be fed through food and God's Word.

It was a little humid, but God sent gentle breezes to keep us comfortable. We look forward to our next outreach event (September 27th).

All praises for this event go straight to our heavenly Father.
