🍁 The harvest season is a time to gather, learn, and share knowledge.

Leech Lake Tribal College invites students, families, and community members to attend our FREE Fall Harvest Celebration on October 28-29, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM each day.

Enjoy cultural teachings, traditional arts, language activities, and hands-on workshops while connecting with community members and Elders. Breakfast will be served Wednesday, with lunch provided both days.

We look forward to coming together to celebrate the harvest season and the traditions that continue to nourish our people.

Help Us Better Understand Homelessness

Leech Lake Homeless Services Program in Partnership with Wilder Research will be doing a Reservation Homeless Study on Monday October 19th and 20th from 10 a.m. To 6 p.m. With the interviews being conducted at the following locations.

Lunch will be provided to all and a visa gift card for those that fully complete the interview.

Monday, October 19th and Tuesday, October 20th

The reservation wide survey is the only one of its kind in the United States. This survey is completely voluntary and anonymous. All the information we gather from our community members helps us pinpoint the barriers to obtaining safe and stable housing and has allowed us to request and receive the funding that our program has to assist our community members with initial move in costs like 1st, last and deposit, furniture for new apartments and utility assistance. It is important that we get our relatives who are homeless, to come and take the survey.

If you or anyone you know, meets the following criteria, please come and take the survey
• Temporarily sharing housing with others (couch hopping or doubled-up) due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or similar reasons.
• Residing in an emergency shelter, including domestic violence shelters.
• Residing in a hotel or motel because they lack another permanent residence.
• Sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation (such as a car, tent, campground, fish house, abandoned building, or public structure).
• Residing in a place without essential utilities like heat, electricity, or water
