Some of our preteens have discovered a new passion for building model cars and spray painting! What a great way to introduce them to new forms of art while allowing them to be creative, learn new skills, and express themselves.

What a wonderful way to celebrate as we get closer to the end of summer! Our teens had the opportunity to enjoy one of their favorite things with their families!

We had around 11 families join us for an evening filled with hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, and fun activities.

It was also a great opportunity to connect with families, talk about how their teens have been doing, and hear about all the great things they’ve been involved in throughout the summer.

Thank you to all the families who came out and made this Family BBQ such a special evening! We’re looking forward to finishing the summer strong together!

Our Photography members headed up the mountain to capture some amazing pictures and put their skills to work! These teens have been part of Photography Club since the beginning of summer, and their hard work, dedication, and willingness to learn new skills have truly paid off.

As a special treat for all their hard work, they got to enjoy a well-deserved stop at Chozen Yogurt!

We’re so proud of how much they’ve learned and grown behind the camera this summer! Great job, photographers!

Mason has participated in every Cooking with Alex session and has done an outstanding job developing his culinary skills. Last week, he was especially excited to learn the “secret” behind Pedro’s salsa and how it is made. Mason jumped right in, followed the steps, and did a fantastic job making the salsa himself. It was great to see his confidence, curiosity, and growing skills in the kitchen!

One Last Time at Atlas Energy Solutions for Career Works!

Our teens had one last opportunity to visit Atlas Energy Solutions for Career Works, and they had a fantastic time! They especially enjoyed looking at all the cars and seeing some of the hard work the employees put into them. It was a great opportunity for our teens to see the skills, dedication, and effort that go into different careers.

A huge thank you to Atlas Energy Solutions for allowing our teens to be part of such an amazing opportunity. We truly appreciate your time, support, and the experiences you provided for our teens!

Our teens had an exciting Career Works experience with CaveSim! They had the opportunity to explore the world of cave rescue and learn about the different careers and skills involved in working in caves. Through this hands-on experience, teens practiced teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and safety skills while learning what it takes to work in this unique field. It was a great opportunity for our teens to step outside their comfort zones, try something new, and explore career possibilities they may not have considered before. Our teens took an exciting trip to Thermopolis to visit the Wyoming Dinosaur Center! 🦖🦴

As part of our Career Works program, teens participated in a guided tour that gave them a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into paleontology and museum operations. They learned about fossil excavation, dinosaur research, artifact preservation, and the many careers that help bring history to life.

This hands-on experience introduced our teens to career opportunities in science, education, research, and museum management while inspiring curiosity and a deeper appreciation for Wyoming's rich prehistoric history.

It was an unforgettable day filled with learning, exploration, and discovering how a passion for science can lead to exciting career paths!
