It’s been a busy June for our club. We were at Bookin’ It & also at Nic Fest giving out Start Here Financial Binders. These are financial planning binders that are free to all graduating seniors. We will also have them at Crazy Days.

We made a pancake breakfast for the Shrine Bowl teams on Friday, and then on Saturday another pancake breakfast for the kids attending Key Leader up on the mountain!

It’s been a fun & rewarding month so far!!

🚨 ATTENTION NATRONA COUNTY COMMUNITIES🚨
I see posts all the time asking for more financial literacy for our young adults.

The reality is… we’re trying. There have been many workshops and classes are offered to our community that often go unattended or canceled.

BUT RIGHT NOW, there is an opportunity I hope families of Natrona County don’t let pass them by. Thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Casper Financial Literacy Project and Curt Weston’s generous legacy, every graduating senior in Natrona County has the opportunity to receive a complimentary Start Here Financial Binder.

This isn’t just another budgeting worksheet or finance information. It’s a hands-on, real-life framework to help graduates:
✅ organize their money
✅ plan paycheck-by-paycheck
✅ understand real-world spending
✅ set goals with intention
✅ and build confidence navigating adulthood

The goal is simple:
Help graduates connect the knowledge to action in real life.

🎓 Distribution events and pickup opportunities will take place throughout graduation season.

Today marks 105 years of Kiwanis Club of Casper —and we’re proud to celebrate it by giving back in a meaningful way.

Through the Financial Literacy Project within our club, every graduating senior in the Class of 2026 in Natrona County will have the opportunity to receive a Start Here Financial Binder as they transition into real life.

This isn’t just a binder full of information.

It’s a simple, real-world system designed to help graduates:
• Understand what to do with their money
• Bridge the gap between what they should do and how they do it
• Make decisions with intention
• Start building their life with clarity and confidence

Instead of guessing, it gives them a way to navigate their money—paycheck by paycheck.

We’ll be hosting several distribution dates where families can pick up their binder and be part of this initiative. More details (including dates and how it works) will be shared soon.

Because every graduate deserves more than just a diploma—they deserve a way to turn knowledge into real-life action.
