We’re looking for the MOST PATRIOTIC CONTESTANT! The winner will take home a $50 gift certificate!

Break out the flags, sparkles, red-white-and-blue outfits, and get those horses looking patriotic too. We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the rodeo dads!

Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the miles on the road, the endless loading and unloading, the encouraging words after a tough run, and the celebrations after a good one.

Behind every young cowboy and cowgirl is someone making sacrifices so they can chase their dreams.

A special thank you goes out to the dads who don’t just support their own kids, but who cheer for every contestant who enters the arena. The dads who lend a hand in the chutes, offer words of encouragement after a tough ride, celebrate another kid’s success as if it were their own, and help create the family atmosphere that makes this association so special.

Thank you for teaching hard work, respect, sportsmanship, faith, and perseverance...both in and out of the arena.

From our rodeo family to yours, we wish all of our fathers a very Happy Father’s Day!

We welcome hometown members to any of our rodeos. The only rodeo you can not “hometown” is state finals! 😊

You do not need to be a WJRA member to enter the Buffalo WJRA Rodeo.

Non-members are welcome to enter by paying a one time 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐞 of $𝟑𝟎 per contestant, which is due at the time of entry.

📌 Senior contestants must be enrolled in 8th grade or lower.

📌 Age is determined by the September 1 deadline of the current school year (2025)

📌Hometown contestants must provide the WJRA secretary a copy of their birth certificate as well as a notarized parent waiver (download at www.wjra.info) prior to competing!

📌Entries are submitted through Saddlebook.

2026 WJRA State Finals Information- Lusk, WY

The 2026 State Finals schedule has been released!

Please note:
• Contestant check-in will begin Thursday evening.
• You must be a current WJRA member to enter State Finals. Hometown memberships are not eligible for State Finals.
• Each contestant is required to sell $100 in raffle tickets before competing. (Turn in at contestant check-in)
• Each family is also responsible for providing an auction item. (Send pictures to Chyann or Christine so we can start posting items!)
• Watch for an RSVP form to fill out for the state finals dinner- posting soon!
• Entries open July 6.

Please review the schedule carefully and start making plans for an exciting weekend!
