Informative Speaking Brinnan Heaton placing 2nd & Dylan Smith breaking to semi-finals! Impromptu Speaking CJ Syverson placing 2nd! Oratory Zoey Smith placing 3rd! POI Brinnan Heaton placing 5th, CJ Syverson placing 6th, & Paige Worley breaking to semi-finals! Policy Debate placing 2nd Aubrie Hines and Trey Gross! Extemporaneous Speaking Trey Gross breaking to semi-finals! Overall the team brought home 2nd place in 4A schools!

Results from the Wind River District National Qualifying Tournament are here! Qualifying in US Extemporaneous Speaking Kristen Harper! Kristen is now a 4 time attendee! She was also a runner up for student of the year! Brinnan Heaton qualified as 1st alternate in Informative Speaking! CJ Syverson broke to finals in House Congressional Debate! Coach Beagles is the District Assistant Coach of the year! Way to go NCHS Speech and Debate!

Jackson Hole tournament results are here! Congress CJ Syverson 3rd place & Aubrie Hines making it to supers! Extemporaneous Speaking Kristen Harper 1st place! Humorous Interpretation- Zoey Smith 3rd place! Impromptu Speaking making it to semi-finals CJ Syverson! Informative Speaking making it to semi-finals Brinnan Heaton! Oratory making it to semi-finals RaeLa Kountz and Zoey Smith! POI Kristen Harper 1st place, Brinnan Heaton 5th place, making it to semi-finals CJ Syverson, Sophia Winfrey and Paige Worley! Overall the team took home 2nd place in 4A schools!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to EVERYONE who worked together to make the 2026 Mustang Classic a huge success! We felt the love and support from community members, parents, administration, teachers, custodial staff, students, and speech & debate teams from around Wyoming, South Dakota, and Colorado! See you all again the last weekend of January 2027!

Happy Monday friends & family! We are looking to fill some more judging spots at our tournament on January 30th & 31st. We need volunteers for the 7:00 PM & 8:30 PM rounds on Friday. We also need volunteers for the 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and the 1:30 PM rounds on Saturday. If you are available (even for only 1 of these rounds) please fill out this Google form.
