We want to say this loud enough for everyone to hear it: All kinds of people get abortions for all kinds of reasons. 

The decision to access abortion care is a personal one and ultimately is shaped by a person’s life circumstances, goals, lived history, and perhaps faith, but no matter how a person comes to the decision, it is still a personal one.

While this post depicts some of the people who may seek abortion care at some point in their lives, it in no way encompasses the breadth of experiences of those who choose abortion. 

No matter who you are or what your reason is, it’s personal, and we are here to help.

It’s spooky season, and we know that the spookiest trickiest thing out here is Unregulated Pregnancy Centers (UPCs). 

These fake clinics play Halloween all year round masquerading as legitimate clinics. They intentionally spread misinformation about reproductive health and abortion. These clinics are often staffed by unlicensed volunteers, and are not required to abide by HIPAA since they aren’t legitimate healthcare facilities. 

All of it is a trick, and that ain’t right. 

When you’re making a deeply personal decision, you deserve to know exactly who is providing your care, and you deserve accurate information about all of your options, with no tricks or scare tactics.

We know that as supporters of Chelsea's Fund, we all genuinely care about Wyoming and the values that make our state home: honesty, healthy communities and the freedom to choose your life. We work hard, take pride in our home, and take care of each other.

Taking care of eachother means donating to orgs like us (thank you!) and speaking out to end controlling policies that aim to take away our freedoms.

Now is the time to make our voices heard by VOTING.

The general election is November 3- and early and absentee voting begins today, October 6.

Abortion is an age-old practice. For centuries, people have been seeking abortions. Historically speaking, even religious folks favored abortion, or at least the freedom to make one’s own decisions about pregnancy.

For centuries, people have known exactly what we are saying. Pregnancy is deeply personal, and people deserve the freedom to make decisions about what is right for their lives and their bodies.

The Hyde Amendment has been in place for 50 years.
For 50 years federal funds, like Medicaid, have been prohibited from paying for most abortions. Enter Abortion Funds.

Abortion funds have been making it possible for people to access the care that they need. After the Hyde Amendment was put in place abortion funds formed across the country and 22 of them banded together to create the National Network of Abortion Funds . Together, abortion funds have been making abortion access possible for people who need the care, for whatever reason.

Now, on the 50th anniversary of the Hyde Amendment, we are saying, “enough is enough.” To sign the NNAF petition to end Hyde, check the link in the comments.
