I still would like ai to not try to be so helpful!
Since it was a pretty nice day compared to recently
I went out to the field to get in a few flights. I reaffirmed why I gave myself the never go to the field with just one aircraft rule. My Hots would not link with the transmitter and I did not want to open it up to see what was not working at the field. So I just flew the Uproar and my Vigor in the really nice air. It would be nice if a few more pilots or students would join. Yea, Yea, I know you don't like a dirt runway and it is 20 miles out. On the positive side you can fly and land in a 30 MPH or better and land no matter which direction the breeze. No pond or gun club just next to the runway. A less than perfect landing rarely breaks a prop. Members do get a membership card.

A couple weeks ago president Troy and first lady Jennifer spent the day doing touchup on the runway. They even did a drag on the dirt runway. a few days ago we had 1/2 inch of rain which locked down the freshly disturbed dirt. Today Troy and I did quite a bit of flying on the nice fairly smoothed runway. You only need 3 inch or bigger wheels to fly off dirt. The pix is of Troy doing touch and goes with a trainer. Just an enjoyable day.
