Bishop Home Museum - Cadoma Foundation

Bishop Home Museum - Cadoma Foundation The Cadoma Foundation is a Wyoming 501c (3) for the preservation of Wyoming historic properties. The foundation owns the Historic Bishop Home Casper, Wy

Historic Bishop Home. Built in 1907, the Historic Bishop Home located at 818 East 2nd Street was the first multi-story brick home in Casper; the only house museum open to the public; and, Casper’s only home individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places Frequently, the visitors remark that the Bishop Home IS true history of Casper and Natrona County. After a visit, the home i

s no longer an old house on 2nd Street to them; but, a connection to the development of Casper and Natrona County as the business center of central Wyoming. This stalwart house has stood through Casper’s strange and wondrous past and will stand during the events of Casper’s future. The permanence of this “Place” gives the community pride in the past and confidence about “their” future. Mission Statement: The Bishop Home Family Museum connects the young and old to the history of Casper, Natrona County, & Wyoming through a "real family" who lived, laughed, and labored in this historic home for over 100 years.
