🎀 Your reminder to put your breast health first! 💗

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the third Friday in October is National Mammography Day! 🩷

Mammograms can help detect breast cancer early, sometimes before a lump can be felt. Staying up to date on recommended screenings is one important way to take care of yourself.

✨ Know your risk.
✨ Talk with your healthcare provider about when to start screening.
✨ Ask questions about breast density and what it means for you.

Early detection matters, and taking care of yourself matters, too! 💕

? In 2024, Hispanic/Latinx individuals accounted for over 1/3 of new HIV diagnoses in the United States, despite making up only 19% of the U.S. population.

This National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day, we’re highlighting the importance of expanding access to HIV services and addressing the barriers and stigma that continue to drive disparities in Hispanic/Latinx communities.

💜 Herpes Awareness Day | October 13

A herpes diagnosis doesn’t define you. ❤️

Today, we’re raising awareness, challenging stigma, and reminding everyone that sexual health deserves compassion—not shame. Herpes is common, manageable, and nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone deserves accurate information, respectful care, and support without judgment.

Through Title X Family Planning, we believe everyone deserves access to quality sexual and reproductive health information and care. Whether you have questions about STIs, testing, prevention, or your sexual health, you deserve a safe space to ask them.

Looking for support beyond the diagnosis? Something Positive for Positive People (SPFPP) offers resources and community to help people navigate herpes stigma and feel less alone.

💜 Your diagnosis does not define your worth. You deserve care, connection, and a positive future.

Something Positive for Positive People (SPFPP) supports people navigating herpes stigma at the intersection of mental health, sexuality, and relationships. Our resources include support calls, support groups, yoga therapy, and educational events, with stigma-informed training offered to health profe

🌿 This Indigenous Peoples Day, we’re celebrating the knowledge, creativity, and innovations Indigenous communities have shared across generations!

Did you know? Indigenous communities have long used traditional knowledge of medicinal plants and practices to support reproductive health, including pregnancy and birth spacing. This knowledge reflects generations of observation, cultural traditions, and connections to the natural world. 🌱

Today, we honor Indigenous knowledge, recognize its lasting contributions, and celebrate the communities who continue to preserve it.
