The application for ASI industry awards until November 28, 2026. The awards program allows producers and industry affiliates the opportunity to nominate individuals they feel have benefited the industry over the last year. Award winners will be recognized at the 2027 ASI Annual Convention on Jan. 13-16, 2027, in Charleston, South Carolina.

In conjunction with the American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) and the American Lamb Board (ALB), the Livestock Marketing Information Center (LMIC), is conducting a producer survey to collect sheep enterprise costs and production data directly from producers.
The survey will generate industry benchmarks and economic insights that help producers compare their operations to regional and national returns, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and make more informed management decisions.
The survey results will also support the development of more accurate and representative sheep industry economic benchmarks for producers, industry leaders, and researchers. Complete the survey by November 30, 2026. Results will to presented at the ASI Convention in January 2027.

ITC Trade Case Hearing- Listen Online, OCTOBER 16

Over the past year, ASI and their legal team have been working relentlessly behind the scenes—gathering data to build an airtight case, rallying key testimony, and standing up for our industry every step of the way.

The momentum is building as we prepare for the crucial International Trade Commission (ITC) hearing on October 16 to determine injury. ASI received 68 signatures from Members of Congress (All 3 WY Reps./Senators signed) on a bipartisan support letter to the USITC.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order temporarily allowing off-road dyed diesel for highway use.

The order directs the Secretary of the Treasury to defer payment of the Federal Tax imposed for on road use of dyed diesel through the remainder of 2026, while encouraging States to adopt similar policies.

We can't wait to view this awesome piece celebrating women pastoralists on October 9th at 6 pm. The film begins at 6:45 pm. The premier takes place at Kinnison Hall, Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College.
