Carlos Gonzales, retired Master Gunnery Sergeant, proudly served 24 years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Today he lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming, raising his three sons to be “respectful, responsible Americans.”
🇺🇸 Carlos enlisted in 1996 and spent his career serving around the world—including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as tours in Japan, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Guantanamo Bay, and the South Pacific. He was stationed across the U.S. and even spent some time in Wyoming before retiring on December 21, 2021—after 24 years and 21 days of service. 🇺🇸
Carlos hunted with our Casper Chapter recently. He was guided by Judson Thoren—who grew up with Hunting with Heroes Wyoming and now helps lead the Casper Chapter. Judson’s dad, Ken, has been guiding with us since our very first hunt in 2013. The Thoren family is part of our foundation, and we’re grateful for them.
Awesome day in the field for Carlos and Judson—well done, gentlemen! BTW, Judson said, “Carlos is a blast to be around!”
