This Fourth of July carries a little more weight as we honor 250 years of American independence. For two and a half centuries, generations of brave men and women have answered the call to defend the freedoms, lands, and way of life we hold dear.

Today, we celebrate America—but we also remember that our freedom has always come with sacrifice, courage, and service.

At Hunting with Heroes Wyoming, that gratitude is at the heart of everything we do. Founded by veterans for veterans, our mission is to give back to our nation’s disabled veterans through unique hunting, fishing, and outdoor experiences—creating a supportive environment where camaraderie, healing, and hope can take root, no matter the physical or emotional battles they continue to face.

As America celebrates 250 years, we are proud to honor those who have stood watch over her freedom. From the mountains and open spaces of Wyoming, we remain committed to serving those who served us. May we never forget the price of liberty, may we never stop showing gratitude to our heroes, and may God continue to bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we cherish. We will never forget them.

At Hunting with Heroes Wyoming, we are humbled every day to serve veterans who carry that legacy forward. We remember the fallen, honor their families, and give thanks for the true heroes among us.

Please take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor. 🇺🇸

Bill Brinegar, Executive Director of Hunting with Heroes Wyoming, was a guest today on a Cowboy State Daily show with Jake. Check it out and stay up to date on proposed regulation changes related to hunting permits (Chapter 35) and license issuance (Chapter 44), and how those changes could impact the program we’ve proudly shared with veterans for the past 14 years. Catch Bill around the 2:43 mark.

We want to hear from you regarding the proposed changes to Wyoming Game and Fish Department regulations related to Chapter 35 (Hunting Permit Regulations) and Chapter 44 (Regulations for Issuance of Licenses).

Earlier this week, Hunting with Heroes Wyoming Executive Director Bill Brinegar spoke with Cowboy State Daily about how some of these proposed changes could impact our program and the veterans we serve.

We are monitoring this closely and actively working to help minimize any negative impact on Hunting with Heroes Wyoming and the opportunities provided to disabled veterans.
