Good morning, friends!

Today is WyoGives, Wyoming's statewide 24-hour online day of giving hosted by the Wyoming Nonprofit Network. Until 11:59 PM tonight, this organization brings Wyoming and hundreds of nonprofits together for a day of giving that strengthens communities and provides resources to groups that help meet local needs and improve quality of life across the state. We would love your continued support, and we encourage you to check out the work of many others throughout this great state and all they do for Wyoming and its people. In addition to bringing Wyoming nonprofits together for a day, the Hughes Charitable Foundation (HCF) will match all contributions from today up to $10,000!

We are grateful to WyoGives and the HCF for their continued work in providing these opportunities to Wyoming nonprofits, and to all of you who continue to support Brooksie and this foundation's work. Your support over the past 10-plus years has allowed us to fulfill our foundation's mission to keep Brooks's legacy alive through his memorial scholarship and yearly contributions to SIDS research! To date, the BJA Foundation has provided $75,000 in "Books from Brooks" scholarships and $250,000 to our friends at the Aaron Matthew SIDS Research Guild, who are making incredible progress in better understanding the terrible mystery that is SIDS.

Up with the sun! Ready for a weekend of ⚾️🇺🇸!!

We wanted to send a quick thank you to our golfers, volunteers, and scholarship recipients & their families. The 11th Play for Brooks tournament included 144 golfers and numerous sponsors. We are abundantly grateful to all who supported this year’s fundraiser be it in person or via bidding online from afar. Our foundation is extremely blessed to be surrounded with the love and support of you all each year!

We will be in touch soon to deliver auction items, share photos, and finalize any other tournament details.

As always, thanks to Bruce, Austin, and their crews at Paradise Valley Country Club for putting on a phenomenal, fun, and successful golf tournament again this year. Smiles at every turn, just what we hope for when planning this event.

The auction is up and running, with many new additions from our first post, and the crew at Paradise Valley C.C. is at it early this morning, getting the course dialed in as 144 of our closest friends and most generous neighbors join us for our 11th SWING AT SIDS. Hello Friends,

It is with great pleasure that we share the 2026 Books from Brooks Scholarship recipients with you. To date, we have awarded $76,000 to Natrona County School District Students who have written essays describing how they have exhibited courage, character, leadership, and perseverance in their young lives. The class of 2026 was our strongest applicant group to date, with 15 deserving applicants. Due to the incredible support from so many of you, we shared our appreciation for their efforts by awarding the top four applicants with Books from Brooks Scholarships ($2,000 each) and providing the other eleven (11) applicants with partial scholarships ($250) as a token of our appreciation for their efforts. A total of $10,750 in scholarships, which would not be possible without the incredible support of you all. Please join us in congratulating the following recipients:

The 11th annual Play for Brooks tournament and silent auction is just 2 1/2 weeks away. It’s hard to believe it’s so close!

We are currently finalizing team rosters and beginning to organize the auction. If you have an item or idea for this year's auction, please contact Jamie by text or message the foundation.

To submit an item, simply send us a photo and a brief description, and we'll add it to the website. You can bring the physical item on the tournament day.
