Twyla (Little Whiteman) Christensen- Creator of the Solstice Celebration * Capricorn* ~Feather Tapping~
I am a mother, grandmother, energy worker and enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Nation. Her connection to the spirit world began at a very young age, leading her to embark on her journey of Feather Tapping. I was able to heal at various holistic fairs that eve
ntually led to provide this service in the infamous Blue-Room where I continue to provide this healing service. I extended this vision to create a different kind of holistic fair, targeting exactly what a holistic fair should be, - holistic. My vision is to continue to create a holistic and wellness environment with the people that truly care about the healing aspect more than the money aspect, thus formed the Wyoming Solstice Celebration. Together with friend Molly Tucker and daughter Chynna Dobson, the idea blossomed into the first event in June of 2020. Molly Tucker Co-creator of the Solstice Celebration *Virgo* ~Director of Mosaic School of Massage~
I graduated from Ashmead College, with honors, in 2005 and have been working in the field as a Massage Therapist since in several settings such as physical therapy clinics, oncology and spa settings. After completing a 500 hour Medicinal Herb Program, I opened Mosaic Massage College in Casper, WY to share my knowledge and love of Massage and educate the next generation of Massage Therapists. I am excited to be a part of the Wyoming Solstice Celebration to bring a holistic approach to health and wellness of the community while also supporting the non-profit we have chosen to be the recipient of all donations and profits made from the event. Chynna (Christensen) Dobson Marketing for the Solstice Celebration *Capricorn* ~Hospitality Management~
I am a wife, mama of 2 daughters, 1 son & 3 pups. I thrive under pressure and find peace on my paddle board floating down a river or soaking up the sun on calm waters. I do well in management because I lead fiercely and humbly, setting a balanced scene. My background is in hospitality management, giving us a great advantage to find space to host the Wyoming Solstice Celebration with an understanding of events and marketing. My goal is for this event to always showcase true holistic wellness and to always have something for everyone. The Journey to now
Years ago a small group of women gathered every few months to celebrate the new moon or the full moon. We would listen, guide and laugh through the cycles of our lives. Each of us learning to grow, relax, challenge ourselves and let go of the past that blocked us from our futures. As time went on the group became smaller as life gets busy and left 3 women. Each woman already on the path of their life journey’s written within their individual charts. Once each of us were established in our ventures the idea to create our own holistic fair came up. We met with and brainstormed ideas of who, what and when we wanted this event to take place. Once we developed the idea a worldwide pandemic made its appearance……
To most this meant the halt to the movement in the world. To the wellness healers and practitioners, this meant there was never a more important time for healing. 5 days before the event we received the green light to host the event. So much success came from this event and we were able to meet so many new people. The most important aspect of the Celebration is the impact we leave in the community. Each person that receives healing, an organic product that benefits their wellness, or a beautiful piece of authentic handmade jewelry also receives an opportunity to be a lifetime customer or friend. All proceeds and donations we receive go directly to the non-profit Mimi’s House a home for homeless teenagers in Natrona County. To get down to it, we are 3 women with a vision to heal, bring awareness to the inner-self and get you contact with what makes you shine.
