Lots happening in Casper this month! If you’re looking for something fun to do and love beautiful art, be sure to check out NIC Fest 2026 at the The Nicolaysen Art Museum. The festival features talented regional artists, live entertainment, great food, and a fun community atmosphere. It’s one of Casper’s favorite annual celebrations of creativity and culture.

We’re especially excited that one of our members, Jennifer Morss, will be there sharing her artwork alongside many other talented artists.

Grab a friend, support local creatives, enjoy some delicious food, and spend a day celebrating the arts in downtown Casper! 🎨✨

A hobby is something you do when you have free time.

Creating is what we make time for.

Whether it's painting, writing, woodworking, photography, music, jewelry making, or any other creative pursuit, most artists know it doesn't stay in the studio. It follows you everywhere—in your thoughts, your conversations, and your plans.

It's not just something we do. It's part of who we are.

That's one of the things we love most about our creative community. Through events like our Second Saturday Coffee Cafe’ & Art Walk , we get to meet people who understand the joy, passion, and occasional obsession that comes with creating.

This week we’re featuring literary artist and children’s book author Casey Rislov.

From teaching preschool to creating imaginative children’s books, Casey has built a creative career rooted in storytelling, creativity, and community. Through her work, she inspires young readers to explore, imagine, and discover joy in everyday moments.

One of our favorite takeaways from her story:
