Heads up, Crockery Lake residents: On Thursday, September 16, 2026, Professional Lake Management will be treating the lake for invasive Eurasian milfoil. The treatment will target the whole lakeshore and pe*****te to the roots to help prevent excessive growth next year. Important safety update from Crockery Lake Association: Ottawa County Parks posted a warning about elevated E. coli levels at Grose Park beach and is testing additional locations, including near the boat launch. Results from follow-up tests expected tomorrow morning — we’ll share updates as soon as we have them. Please avoid swimming or water contact in affected areas until authorities confirm it’s safe. This sign has been posted by Ottawa County Parks Department by the beach at Grose Park. There will be another one by the boat launch as a precaution. Ottawa County Parks has been testing the lake for E-Coli every 2 weeks and found unusually high volumn in yesterdays testing. They tested again today....
