Cashmere-Dryden Airport Day is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the airport
5500 Sullivan St. in Cashmere.
Tacos, planes, helicopters, bouncy house, snow cones, kettle corn and more!
The one-day event is held annually on the same weekend as the Chelan County Fair to draw visitors already headed to Cashmere. About 500 people attend each year.
Now in its fourth year, the celebration offers free activities for all ages. Visitors will get a close-up view of about 50 single-engine airplanes on display, along with antique cars and helicopters from the Washington Army National Guard, Chelan County Sheriff’s Office and Life Flight Network. The Cashmere Fire Department also plans to bring a backcountry wildfire-fighting vehicle.
