Washington Wine Industry Foundation

Washington Wine Industry Foundation Collaborating and innovating for the future of the Washington Wine Industry

We are a network of growers, winemakers, goods-and-services providers, and wine-lovers with a shared vision: a thriving Washington wine industry. Because this vision is too big for any one person or organization to own, our board and staff work to build relationships, create partnerships, and facilitate collaboration to make this vision a reality. As one of the industry’s few 501(c)(3) nonprofit o

rganizations, we are able to build, steward, and distribute funding for the industry in a way that others cannot. We take this responsibility and opportunity seriously, and so commitment, stewardship, and sustainability are our highest values.

Thanks for an incredible Party + Auction last night! If you’re still at WineVit, check out 2024 Bill Powers Sabbatical recipient Casey Cobble’s Snapshot Session at 10:15am!

Casey will share her learnings from a dive into Northern Italy’s sparkling wine traditions—from Charmat to Traditional Method. Casey’s journey took her through renowned regions and into hands-on production, including assisting acclaimed sparkling wine consultant Jerome Barret in tirage bottling at Monsignore in Alta Langa. Through a travel journal-style narrative, she highlights winemaking techniques and equipment used in the places she visited. Designed to inspire anyone interested in expanding their view beyond state lines, this Washington Wine Industry Foundation Sabbatical report is based in the philosophy that exposure to other wine regions helps us innovate and continue to improve.

Hope to see you there!

P.S. Make sure you stick around until 12:15pm for the WA Wine Industry Town Hall to hear from and join in conversation with leaders from across the industry, including our very own Jenn Brunner!
