On this day in 1950, Robert “Bob” and Margaret Cameron were married in Rupert, Idaho.

Together, they built a life rooted in family, service, education, and faith. Their legacy, care for their community, and commitment to generosity carry on through the charitable unitrust they established with Faith Foundation Northwest in 2000, which continues to make a difference in the ministry of the Foundation and the life of Rupert UMC.

We are honored to remember Bob and Margaret and to help carry their generosity forward.

Montahalem is strengthening intercultural collaboration and community-centered ministry through a participatory research cohort. Join us in celebrating the Great Spirit Native American United Methodist Church, a recipient of a Faith Foundation Northwest 2026 Mini-Grant!

Great Spirit United Methodist Church is providing regular healthy meals that nourish both body and spirit. Grant funding will support the purchase of food and meal supplies for weekly gatherings that serve dozens of participants, including Sunday fellowship meals and Thursday Sacred Drum Circle gatherings. These meals reduce food insecurity and foster community connection.

Kuna United Methodist Church is investing in both people and place through a school garden project at Ross Elementary. Grant funding will help build and repair garden beds, install irrigation, and provide supplies for students to plant, grow, and harvest fresh produce. The harvest will support the Ross Pantry, while hands-on learning opportunities will connect students with caring adults and teach lessons about service, environmental stewardship, and community responsibility.
