🧠 Almost half of all Americans will have a mental health disorder within their lifetime.

Rates are even higher for those who identify as LGBTQIA+.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. No matter what you are facing, even if it seems ‘like nothing,’ you don’t have to do it alone. 🫂

Mental health matters. And so do you.

A single slaughterhouse can legally kill 140 chickens every minute.

While their living conditions in industry are gloomy, chickens display signs of true happiness when given the chance to be free.

Chickens are among the most killed and consumed animals for food, but line speeds that are too fast and overcrowded living conditions are the norm for all industrially farmed animals.

Today is World Farm Animal Day 🐷. Show your appreciation for these beautiful species by choosing plants and/or supporting your local animal sanctuary.

Jasper, the rooster, loves a cozy, safe lap to rest on! 🧡

Many think roosters are “mean”, but typically they only show signs of “aggression” if they are scared and feel unsafe or if they are protecting their flock.

Roosters are born protectors of their flock and hens - it is one of their most important roles in life and something they take VERY seriously. So seriously, they will sacrifice their own life to save their companion. 🐓
