What a season π»β½οΈ
In just our third year of Varsity Girls Soccer (this year being our first full season), the Summit Bears finished as the NCHSAA 1A State Runner-Ups after an undefeated regular season, becoming Regional Champions of the West, and appearing in the first State Championship game of any sports team in Southern Jackson County.
This team inspired an entire community β from the town-wide sendoff to the final whistle β and proved what is possible through hard work, belief, and heart. We couldnβt be prouder of these student-athletes, their coaches, their families, and the legacy theyβve built. The future is BRIGHT for the Bears! π‘π₯
After a well-fought Championship game, leaving every ounce of effort out on the field, the coaches let the girls shave their heads... hair lost; history made π€
We are proud to announce that Victoria Clement was voted Conference Player of the Year, Kayleigh Bonner and Olivia Reeves were voted All Conference, and All Conference Honorable Mentions were Rae Bennett, Lydia Hughes, Nelly Morales-Campos, Bailey Robinson, Sydney Sinclair, and Jaylin Wells.
