Cascade Cultural Arts Center

Cascade Cultural Arts Center Horizons' Lifestyle and Education Team; Cultural Arts for the Community of Cascade, Idaho; http://www.horizonsicehouse.org/ or www.cascadeculturalarts.org.

Our team is here to help you as an artist. We are committed to providing a facility in which you can share your talents with the community. Our vision is to see the center grow in its offerings to the community. Some suggestions for usage and classes include the following: mosaic tile, painting, pottery, ceramics, recitals, art displays and shows, arts and crafts, art workshops, music jams, music

rehearsals, music lessons, cooking, and dance/movement. We are hoping to develop this into an opportunity for the entire community to enjoy their individual ideas of self-expression through the arts. This will also provide a location for our youth to develop their talents and express themselves. If you would like to get involved you can join us on our team, become a yearly one-month sponsor to help cover our monthly expenses, and/or donate equipment and art supplies.

June 30 - Let’s Talk About It – The book club meets at the Cascade Cultural Arts Center with a virtual option through Google at 1:00 pm on the last Tuesday of each month. All are welcome to attend – you can read one book or all and can be part of the discussion or just listen.

A Special Let’s Talk About It – Christine Echeverria Bender, the author of The Far Reach of Yesterday, will be joining us.

Meet the Author
Christine Echeverria Bender's novel "The Far Reach of Yesterday" has been named a Finalist by the American Legacy Book Awards! The secrets of past eras and cultures have enticed her into ghost towns of the Old West, archives of libraries and museums, recesses of prehistoric caves, and aboard historic tall ships. She's also crossed the turbulent Snake River on horseback and joined a team of archeologists from the Smithsonian Institute at a 15th-century Basque whaling site. Because of these and other endeavors, she was dubbed the “female Indiana Jones” by Women’s Adventure Magazine.
