Monthly Summer Programs
June-August
Jr. High S.T.E.A.M. from 1:30-3:30 pm on Mondays through the summer at the Cascade Cultural Arts Center. Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! Jr. High Students will have the opportunity to invent, build, experiment, and design through fun and educational projects in our dynamic MakerSpace environment.
Whether it’s coding a robot, engineering a bridge, experimenting with chemical reactions, or crafting a creative art-tech project, every session sparks curiosity and encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation. No prior experience needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to learn!
Students must register before attending any class. This is not a drop-in program. Registration Fee is $25.00 for the summer, with scholarships available. Payment is required on the first day a student attends class. Cash accepted or checks should be made payable to Horizons.
To register, contact Shauna Arnold via email ([email protected]) with the following information: Student's name, grade level, any food allergies or accommodations, parent/guardian name and number, emergency contact name and number, and permission to post pictures.
