We apologize for the delay in providing an update on the Memorial Garden.

The bricks are currently with the engraver, and we aim to install them this fall. This upcoming installment will be added to the current portion of the garden. Please note that if you ordered a 24x24 brick, it will be placed in Phase 2 of the garden, which we hope to begin next year once funding is secured for construction costs.

For future reference, we accept brick orders until July 15th each year for installation the following fall. Reviewing each brick, communicating any issues with donors, creating proofs, and then proofing at least two more times before engraving begins takes significant time, so please have patience.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

We have exciting news! We have been awarded our first Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Inspire Grant. This two year project will outfit our new collections care spaces with state-of-the-art tools and digitization stations, enabling us to properly catalog and digitize our collections.

However, the primary goal of this project remains the further development of our collections management policy and the production of a procedures guide for our staff and volunteers.

We are grateful to our friends at IMLS, and to our donors and sponsors for supporting this project! If you would like to learn more please reach out to us at [email protected].
