We’re grateful that CGFD has received funding to expand cancer screening and early detection for our firefighters.

Cancer is a serious risk in our profession. A NIOSH study found that firefighters had a 14% higher rate of cancer deaths than the general U.S. population. Better access to screening is a meaningful step for our members and their families.

Thank you to our department and everyone who worked to secure this grant. Investing in firefighter health means investing in the people who serve Casa Grande every day.

Never Forget

It's more than a phrase. Today we remember the 343 New York City firefighters and one Fire Patrolman who made the ultimate sacrifice while saving lives at the World Trade Center. Doing the job of all firefighters, putting the lives of strangers before their own. We will never forget their sacrifice, their courage, and their legacy.

Congratulations to all 48 graduates of the 2026-1 Paramedic Program!

Local 3752 is especially proud of our own Logan Brower, Brendan Nall, and Liam Stillson on earning their paramedic certifications.

A lot of hard work, long hours, and sacrifice went into this accomplishment. We’re excited to see the impact you’ll continue to make serving the Casa Grande community. Congratulations, brothers — well earned!

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, resilience, and the generations of Americans who have helped build and protect this great nation.

The members of Local 3752 Casa Grande Firefighters are honored to serve our community and proud to stand ready whenever we’re needed. Thank you for allowing us to serve the place we call home.

As you celebrate this Independence Day with family and friends, please make safety a priority. If you’re using fireworks, follow local laws, keep a safe distance, have water nearby, and never leave children unattended. Better yet, enjoy one of the many professional fireworks displays in our community.

As we celebrate the progression of this important bill, it's also a good reminder that the best outcomes often come from catching things early. Continuing the conversation about firefighter health, wellness, and access to preventative screenings remains just as important as the benefits available after a diagnosis.

Protecting firefighters shouldn't start after a diagnosis; it should start with prevention and early detection.

Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly on this bill. Advocacy matters, and this is proof that persistence pays off.

Have to give credit where it’s due — Billie Davis’ campaign signs came out looking sharp. Clean, professional, and hard to miss driving through town.
