Atreeum Transitioning Life Atreeum provides a safe environment for young female adults. We will teach and equip each one so that they may live and experience a full and productive life.

Atreeum is an organization for young adult females, between the ages of 18-25, who age out of the foster care system. At Atreeum young female adult will have the opportunity to complete their high school diploma or degree, pursue further college, vocational, or skilled education. They will also participate in program which will include various topics such as life skills, independent living skills,

financial planning, self defense, interpersonal relationships, substance abuse addiction and dependency, etc. Atreeum's mission is to break the cycle and the chain of homelessness of vulnerable young adults.

As a foster parents you are doing great work supporting foster children. Our organization is also interested in helping foster children who are turning 18 soon. Our organization is open to take individuals who are aging out of foster care system or already aged out of system and struggling with everyday life's challenges. We have a house to which youth can call it their home, they can get benefits like stability in life, support with further education, learning life skills, safe environment. We are only starting this program with 6 young adults. What are the differences between the children who are turning 18 under biological parents supervision and the children turning 18 under the foster care system?
The children from the foster care system are so scared for turning 18, but the children with biological parents are so excited.
Please share your opinions on the situation these children have to go through.
