Saharsh Nemuri: Hi! My name is Saharsh Nemuri, and I’m a junior at Green Level High School. I currently serve as the Secretary of Green Level High’s Youth Sister Cities Organization and work in Social Media and Marketing for Cary Sister Cities. Beyond marketing, I’m passionate about coding, photography, and graphic design. I enjoy giving back to my community and strive to lead through service, creativity, and collaboration whenever I have the opportunity.

Nikash Runton: My name is Nick Runton, and I will serve as the 2026–2027 Vice President of the Youth Sister Cities Organization while also working as a Social Media Intern doing website management for Cary Sister Cities. Outside of Sister Cities, I am a student-athlete who plays varsity football and lacrosse for my school. I have a strong interest in biology and enjoy learning about health and medicine. I also have a passion for serving my community and helping to promote peace and cultural understanding both locally and around the world!

Pamela Huff has been an active member of Cary Sister Cities for the past six years. Shortly after joining, she was elected Vice President. During her VP tenure, she led several key initiatives, including transitioning the organization’s website, securing Directors and Officers insurance, and moving the financial processing to a no-cost nonprofit system. These efforts improved both efficiency and financial stewardship. Elected President one year later, she is currently serving her third and final year in this role. As President, Ms. Huff has guided Cary Sister Cities toward a strategic focus on youth leadership development. She established partnerships with the Cary Chamber of Commerce and TowneBank to provide scholarships for the Sister Cities International Youth Leadership Summit and local educator recognition programs. She also strengthened community engagement by collaborating with local cultural organizations and regularly partnering with sister city leadership in Raleigh and Durham. Under Ms. Huff’s leadership, membership has doubled. At the state level, for the past year, she has served as the North Carolina Co-State Representative for Sister Cities International.

Cary Sister Cities connects Cary to the world through youth exchanges, leadership programs, and cultural events that foster global understanding at home. The fundraising we receive from Lazy Daze empowers students, strengthens global partnership, and promotes diversity and peace. The funds go directly towards hosting exchange groups, funding student leadership scholarships, and creating community cultural events.
