Calling all singers – come one, come all!
The Oak City Sound Chorus, an a ca****la chorus based here in the Raleigh, NC area, would once again love to have both men AND women sing with us this fun, festive Holiday Season. Come join us!
We are inviting YOU to be a singer in this year's "Oak City Sound Holiday Chorus", for any, and all, of our public/private performances, including at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in downtown Apex,NC, on
Tuesday, December 16th, 2025. *
All you have to do is rehearse with us at least four out of six Mondays, starting October 13th through November 17th. Each rehearsal runs from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. There’s no additional obligation or commitment. Just have fun!
The first rehearsal is at the Glenaire retirement community, 4000 Glenaire Cir, Cary, NC., starting at 7:30pm. Just come in the front entrance and we’ll have people there to greet you.
We will provide sheet music and learning tracks to help you along. All music is 4-part a ca****la, and you can sing whatever part you are most comfortable singing, with lots of help and encouragement from Oak City Sound Chorus members.
The songs planned for the OCS Holiday Chorus are Carol Of The Bells, Holly Jolly Christmas, I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas, and
Mele Kalikimaka.

* In addition to our public performance at the Halle Cultural Arts Center, we are booked with private performances all four Mondays before Christmas, and you are welcome to join us at any of those, as we will be singing some of these songs at those performances, as well.
