SHARE’s Phase 5 is well underway, with 6 of 10 new schools already launched. As of Sept 16th, SHARE will be in 47 Wake County schools.
We were very excited to welcome Wake Co Commissioner Safiyah Jackson to the launch at Aversboro Elementary on August 26th, where she got to see the excitement of food recovery, firsthand! Toward Zero Waste is helping to capture food that would otherwise be thrown away, and instead, feed our students! 💚🥕🍌🌎

Today TZW welcomed Apex High School, our first high school, to our SHARE Family! It was quickly made clear that our high schools need this program too, and that our students and staff are up for the challenge! 💚🍊🥕🍌🌎 Thank you to Mama Edna's Thrift Shop by The Mama Edna Project for making the funding possible, and way to go Apex!🎉
