Volunteering with The Carying Place offers a meaningful way to make a lasting impact in our community.

Whether you’re passionate about mentoring, organizing, event planning, or lending a helping hand, there’s a place for you here. Your unique skills and energy can empower families on their journey toward self-sufficiency and stability.

Start by completing our volunteer form to receive an email about completing your background check. Forms are processed in about a week and then our team will be in touch with you!

At The Carying Place, we strive to help young people heal from the trauma that homelessness can bring, while building confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.

Through consistent support, mentorship, life skills programming, and caring adults, we work to create an environment where children and teens feel encouraged, valued, and empowered to dream beyond their current circumstances.

We’re grateful to all of our providers who donate their time and knowledge to making our program a place where young people can dream.

Their journey home begins by understanding each family’s current situation, including housing needs, financial stability, credit, and long-term goals.
