Thanksgiving is often a time for consuming lots of soda and beer when getting together with family and friends. Remember to collect and rinse the empty cans to bring into school for recycling.

Moore Square Magnet Middle School just got a boost from a great parent that is collecting the cans from their work place as well as home and bringing them in to the school!! Talking with others to collect their cans is a great way to recycle more and help your school.

Moore Square Magnet middle is all set up! Thanks for being the pilot for the program!
We have collection points at the main entrance for ‘walkers’ and car pool and another one for the people on the buses! Bring in what you can every week to recycle and raise funds!

Want some reasons to recycle aluminum?...
..here are just a few.

- For every new can made from Bauxite ore we can make 20 recycled cans.

- Energy saved from recycling 1 can is enough to power a TV for 3 hours!

- 1 ton of new cans require 5 tons of Bauxite ore to be mined, crushed, washed, refined then smelted. Leaving caustic mud to get into the water supply!

- Aluminum cans are infinitely recyclable!

Do your bit...Clean it, CRUSH IT, Recycle it!
