Our Wake County PTA has voted to support ✅ the Wake County Bond and strongly oppose ❌ the two tax amendments on the ballot this election cycle! 🗳️

These amendments may sound like tax cuts, but they will hurt our public schools & public services by limiting Wake County’s ability to raise revenue to adequately fund our school. Local governments across North Carolina would lose out on $950,000,000!

If they pass it could mean losing teachers, bus routes and drivers, SPED funding etc.

✅We support the Wake County School Bond. Many WCPSS facilities are aging and must be addressed before they become emergencies. This bond is one of the most cost fiscally responsible solutions for our county.

Thank you to all our families who participated in our PTSA fundraiser- we reached our goal! 👏👏👏 Look for a breakdown by the numbers to be posted later this week.
