University of Scouting - Occoneechee Council University of Scouting is Occoneechee Council's largest annual leader training event.

Occoneechee Council University of Scouting will provide outstanding supplemental training delivered by exceptional instructors in order to inspire and enable leaders to more effectively deliver the Scouting program to our youth.

Hey Scouts and Scouters - The Occoneechee University of Scouting team has been hard at work behind the scenes preparing for the 2026 University of Scouting.

Please save the date, November 7th 2026, and plan to join us for this year's University of Scouting at Pine Springs Middle in Holly Springs NC (same place as last year).

We're currently getting our classes planned for this year's event.
Registration will go live early September.

A draft of our patch is below - our theme for 2026 is "Today's Learner is Tomorrow's Leader"
