Halloween costumes change every year, but one rule never does: seat belts every time, on every ride, no matter what. Whether you're headed to a party, trick-or-treating or just running errands, buckle up before you pull out of the driveway. It only takes a few seconds, and it's worth doing every single time.

Jumping in piles of leaves may be one of the best parts of fall, but the fun shouldn’t get in the way of safety. Once it’s time to head home, buckle everyone in correctly before driving away, even for a short trip down the road. Buckling correctly only takes a few extra seconds and it’s worth it every time.

What is kratom, and why are more people talking about it?

Kratom is an herbal product that can have both stimulant-like and opioid-like effects. Some people use it for pain, energy, or to manage opioid withdrawal, but it can also cause unwanted effects, interact with medications, and lead to dependence with continued use.

To all the new and expecting moms and dads, congratulations. You’re going to be amazing parents, and we’ll be right here with you so you’re not alone.

This Child Passenger Safety Week, one of the most important steps you can take is making sure your car seat is installed correctly. Using a properly installed car seat is the best way to keep your child safe in the car, and our Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians are here to help you at our car seat check events.

Remember: your baby should ride rear-facing as long as possible. Infants and toddlers have larger heads and more delicate necks and spines, which makes them especially vulnerable in a crash. A rear-facing car seat provides the best protection, keeping your child’s head, neck, and spine supported.
