What a great night! We want to thank everyone who came out tonight and helped make our banquet a huge success! We had a record number of sponsors and a record number of people in attendance this year. We truly appreciate everyone who continues to support our chapter.

One of the highlights of the evening was honoring Larry Neal for his incredible 24 years of service to the NWTF and our chapter. Larry has been a huge part of our chapter over the years, and while we’re excited for him and his next chapter, we’re definitely going to miss him!

Thank you again to everyone who came out, sponsored, volunteered, and supported us. We couldn’t do it without you! We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Women in the Outdoors — Come Join Us!

At our last meeting, Ben Counce brought his 1906 Wi******er .22 r***e to the range for our committee members to enjoy some target shooting at the Steele firing range.

Our committee is fortunate to have so many knowledgeable and experienced people who are always willing to help others learn and become more comfortable around fi****ms.

I learned something about myself during this outing, too! I’m right-handed but left-eye dominant. Richard Sanders helped me figure this out and encouraged me to try shooting left-handed instead of right-handed. Surprisingly, it actually made shooting a little easier for me!

That’s exactly what I love about events like this—there’s always something new to learn.

I encourage all the ladies to come out to our Women in the Outdoors event in October. Whether you’ve never fired a gun before or you’re already an experienced shooter, you’ll have a great time. Our knowledgeable committee members will be there to help beginners feel comfortable, and I promise even the experts will learn something new.

Come join us, have some fun, learn something new, and meet some great people!
