Leake 4Her, Mariah Robinson, recently participated in the Wildlife Art contest and the Horse Art contest. She received 1st place and Over-All winner with her owl which was made from buttons and beads of all sizes. We are proud of you Mariah and hope you continue to participate in expressive arts! Our 4H agent, Vicki Ganann, was invited to present the Slingshot program at the Walnut Grove Public Library. Area youth were given instruction on safety procedures and were shown how to properly use slingshots. They had a fun time and there were some really good shots! We have stirred up a little extra interest in this programming. If you are interested in learning more about the 4-H programs or have a group you would like a program presented, contact our extension agent, Vicki Ganann, at (601)267-8036.
