Please join the CAH Foundation in congratulating Dana Parnes, the 2026 recipient of the Dr. Frank Harvey/JoAnn Zando Healthcare Scholarship!
A graduating senior from the Carthage Central School District, Dana will attend Yale University this fall as a pre-med student. She has already demonstrated an incredible commitment to her future career, spending over 200 hours shadowing healthcare professionals and gaining hands-on insight across various clinical units right here at Carthage Area Hospital
About the Scholarship: The Dr. Frank Harvey/JoAnn Zando Healthcare Scholarship is awarded annually to graduating high school seniors from Carthage, Beaver River, LaFargeville, Hugh C. Williams, Madrid-Waddington, Heuvelton, and Hammond Central Schools, as well as the children of Carthage Area Hospital employees. Designed for students pursuing clinical or supportive roles in healthcare, applicants are scored and selected by a panel of Foundation Board Members. The scholarship proudly honors the legacy of two exemplary individuals who made a profound impact on our local community.
