Today, on National Rural Health Day, we celebrate the Power of Rural and the people who keep care close to home.

At North Star Health Alliance, our hospitals, practices, and clinics are rooted in the same small towns and villages we serve. We uniquely understand what rural healthcare really looks like:

Do you know someone in Jefferson, Lewis, or St. Lawrence County who goes above and beyond to improve the health and well-being of others? Now is your chance to recognize them!

The 2025 North Country Community Health Hero Awards celebrate neighbors, providers, volunteers, and everyday champions who show compassion, dedication, and self-sacrifice in support of physical, mental, and emotional health.

🏆 One hero will be selected from each county and honored at a special awards luncheon on November 19, 2025, in Watertown.
