What a wonderful day of leadership training!

We are so thankful for the Todd family for graciously opening up their ranch and hosting us today. We enjoyed a great time of learning, fellowship, and growing together as we prepare to lead a church that builds lives that honor God. We are so excited to see what God has in store for Central Baptist Carthage!

Thank you, Todds, for your incredible hospitality and for making today so special! We are blessed to have you as part of the Central Baptist family!

The kitten has found a loving home! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who shared!**

Our newest little church member is looking for a family! 🐱

We have a sweet little kitten hanging around the church, and while we’re happy to give this little one some love and attention, what it really needs is a forever home!

This precious baby is looking for someone who will give them lots of love, snuggles, and a safe place to call home. ❤️

I hope you've seen and heard the good news that we are launching The Gospel Project on Sep. 13!

This will be a great opportunity for all kids in Kinder-6th grade as they grow in their walks with Jesus and become life-long disciples.

With this great new opportunity, we need to build great teams!

Each team will serve one Sunday a month.

We already have team leads in place for all 3 teams, but we need more volunteers on each.

We will be having a meeting on Sunday, Aug 30 at 5:00 in the kids room to plan, organize and pray over this great new program.

If you're interested in being on one of our teams (it's a once-a-month commitment during the 10:45 service), I'd love to see you there!

Hey Central Family! Pastor Brandon is challenging us as a church to intentionally pray over seven strategic areas and believe God for what He wants to do in and through Central Baptist Church.

Our prayer is rooted in the promise of John 14:14: “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”

Over the upcoming weeks, let’s pray for:
1. Pastor Brandon, our staff & their families
2. Divine unity in our mission
3. Laborers & new leaders
4. Expectant faith for God to move & do great things
5. Joyful & generous stewardship
6. Souls to be saved & lives changed
7. Hearts that see people like Jesus
