Whispering Pines Thrift Shop

Whispering Pines Thrift Shop We are a 100% volunteer run shop that donates 100% of our proceeds directly back into our community. Our volunteers number over 70 ladies and gentlemen.

The Whispering Pines Thrift Shop became a charitable non-profit organization in the 1970's serving Moore County Charities. Weekly workers come in on Monday and Tuesday to help unpack, sort, and price donations. The Shop is currently open to the public Wednesday (10a-1p), Thursday (10a-1p), Friday (10a-1p) and Saturday (10a-1p) for sales. Beyond the financial contributions, we also donate clothing

and household items to families in need. To date, the Shop has donated over $1 million to local charities! Our successes for the past nearly 40 years are the result of the many people who have contributed whether through donations or volunteering, or both, to this cause. Thanks to everyone for volunteering and for shopping with us!
