Whispering Pines Thrift Shop We are a 100% volunteer run shop that donates 100% of our proceeds directly back into our community. Our volunteers number over 70 ladies and gentlemen.

The Whispering Pines Thrift Shop became a charitable non-profit organization in the 1970's serving Moore County Charities. Weekly workers come in on Monday and Tuesday to help unpack, sort, and price donations. The Shop is currently open to the public Wednesday (10a-1p), Thursday (10a-1p), Friday (10a-1p) and Saturday (10a-1p) for sales. Beyond the financial contributions, we also donate clothing

and household items to families in need. To date, the Shop has donated over $1 million to local charities! Our successes for the past nearly 40 years are the result of the many people who have contributed whether through donations or volunteering, or both, to this cause. Thanks to everyone for volunteering and for shopping with us!

Whispering Pines Thrift Shop re-opens after our summer vacation with our annual CHRISTMAS IN JULY, starting at 9AM on July 15.
Beat the heat and 'think snow' with fantastic holiday decorations at great prices.
The shop is restocked with men's, womens and childrens clothing as well as housewares, craft items, linens and gadgets, so come early and enjoy our FREE air conditioning! (Besides the air conditioning we take cash or check for purchases. The thrift shop does not take credit or debit cards)
