Truthfully, I’m at a loss for words. The reality of these past couple of weeks just seem like they’re not real. In true Kayla Turner fashion though, this journey thus far has not been a sorrowful one and she doesn’t want that to change. She has continued to tell us to turn her worship playlist on and even in moments of weakness for words she has still found enough strength to sing her praise music. We have all each had special moments and encounters with Kayla’s wit and humor. She has truthfully been filled with the Holy Spirit and has ministered to each of us, as she’s the one fighting. She is truly sustained by Christ and we will forever admire her faithfulness and peace that she has in her eternal home. It’s been a lesson to be taught to each of us.🩷
So with that being said.. Kayla is still at MD Anderson and we have been transferred to the Palliative Care unit. We know we are on Gods timing and he knows the days to come! This unit has been nothing short of a blessing since she got here yesterday afternoon. The night nurse lastnight told us that she was sent by God on a mission to help Kayla and that she was dedicated to helping her be pain free. Her and God kept their word, because she is resting and has not complained of pain. So we will praise him for every single victory that we can. đź©·
Thank you all for the outpouring of love, support and prayers! Please continue them!đź©·
