FREE COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK IS COMING! ✨🎓

Texas is making it easier than ever for students to pursue their college dreams!

📅 When: From October 13 to 19, 2025

🏫 WHAT: During Free College Application Week, all Texas public colleges will waive the admission fee to Texas residents who apply through ApplyTexas.org

✅ First income students and transfer students are eligible.

✅ Applications submitted between October 13 at 00:00 and October 19 at 23:59 will be FREE. 💡 This initiative, created by Senate Bill Draft 2231, seeks to make higher education more accessible for Texas families.

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to speak at a Black History Program at the First COGIC in Henderson (Pastor David Leary). Normally, I’m behind the camera or taking notes, but today, after an interactive presentation, the summary was to both youth and adults: “Whatever you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord" and to always do your best. We encouraged them to pursue education—whether academic, trade, or military—get involved in their communities, register and vote, and take the time to connect with their elderly relatives to learn about their family history.
