Instituted in Dec 1946, VFW Aux 7227 has been caring for veterans needs and promoting patriotism in the Carthage community for nearly 75 years.

💔 Tonight, we raise a Busch Light and pull one more tab in honor of our dear friend and Auxiliary member, Lynn Shack.

Lynn wasn’t just a familiar face at the post — he was part of the heart of it. Whether he was sharing laughs at the bar, trying his luck on pull tabs, or simply enjoying time with friends, he brought warmth, stories, and friendship wherever he sat.

Friday night, we lost someone truly special. His chair may now sit empty, but the memories, laughter, and friendships he created will always remain.

Please keep Lynn’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Lynn. 🍺❤️
