We have been busy bees! Our regional qualifiers competed today and they worked hard and committed even on prom day. Huge shout out to Clayton Elliott for advancing to state in Lincoln Douglas Debate! He placed 3rd in a quite competitive region! Reagan Beatty was 3rd in her room and Carson was 4th in his toom-just missed advancing by one spot for Reagan and two spots for Carson. Grayson barely missed advancing as well-literally missed it by .5 points! Our speech team placed 5th overall! Impressive job! Alyssa in Ready Writing and Journalism competitor Aaron Blissett didn’t advance this year, but both put forth a valiant effort. Meira Dodda is ready for next year where we expect her and others to really dominate! Priscila Piedra, Jacky Sigala, and Shia Wallace represented Carthage in informative speaking-broke but didnt make it to state. They are exceptional!!!! Carthage Proud!

Late but super proud of our DramaDawgs for representing this week at the District competition! They are the alternate to Bi-district team, and received several awards including: Aaron Blissett with All Star Cast, Jazzy Cabada as All Star Tech, Reagan Beatty as Honorable All Star Cast, and Aubriana Jackson as Honorable All Star Cast. We are proud of all of you!
