This week we saw how Solomon built the temple, using his riches and skills to thank God in a big way. Gratitude moves us to action, because when we are thankful, we can give God what we have.

Parents, here are some recap questions to ask at home this week:
-What did Solomon build for God? A temple.
-Who wanted to build it before Solomon did? Solomon's dad, David.
-Why did Solomon thank God? For keeping promises and being with the people.
-Read Psalm 84:11. What does it mean that God is both a "sun" and a "shield"? God gives us light and life like the sun, and protects us like a shield.

What a fun day in LTK!

We just finished Week 4 of We Are Family! Jacob and Esau struggled, but our Big Idea was we’re all welcome in God’s family.

We can’t wait for next Sunday when we kick off our new series!
