Carteret has recently initiated to promote arts through the town and construction will soon begin for its new Performing Arts Center which will draw thousands of visitors throughout New Jersey. Carteret’s arts scene has experienced a robust boost as it recently celebrated the grand opening of the Blazing Star Cultural Arts Center. The Borough of Carteret is also scheduled to go under construction for a new Marina and a riverfront walkway, among many other projects currently under construction, such as a Medical Professional Plaza and a rooftop bar as part of a luxury apartment building. Whether you’re a resident, visitor, or business owner, Carteret has something to offer everyone. Exciting festivals and a beautiful Waterfront Park have become the new normal in town.

The Borough is proud to announce that the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall will be coming to the Borough of Carteret this week!
This special 4-day exhibit will be open for display around-the-clock at Carteret Park from 04/28/2016,Thursday, 3 pm to 05/01/2016, Sunday, 3 pm.
An honor es**rt ride will take place this Wednesday at 6 pm from iPort 12 around town, to Carteret Park.
Please join with friends and neighbors as we honor the brave men and women who fought in the Vietnam War. We hope to see you all there!

Starting Thursday, Carteret will play host to the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, a four-day exhibit run by the American Veterans Traveling Tribute that is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the borough.
