South Bay Vocational Center is a 501c 3 nonprofit dedicated to helping the people we serve, as well as our community. At South Bay Vocational Center, we believe that vocational training and completion of a meaningful work product provides our disabled workers with an increased sense of self-sufficiency, autonomy and enhanced self-esteem. Whether they are working in our own 20,000 square foot South

on-site manufacturing facility, or are out in the community working for an employer under the direction of our Supported Employment Program, the people we serve are eager and willing to engage in vocationally based community relationships. Individuals in the Social Activity Program engage in activities that are meaningful and designed to help individuals achieve their optimal level of independence. South Bay Vocational Center receives fee-for-service rehabilitation revenue from federal and state funded agencies, but depends heavily upon tax-deductible contributions of individuals, foundations, corporations and small businesses.
