Today is !

✨💞We want to give you each a big virtual hug and let you know the Elgin Foundation for Wellness loves you and is here for you!💞

At The Elgin Foundation for Wellness, we believe that mental health conditions should be discussed year-round but are highlighted during World Mental Health Day to dedicate time for mental health advocates to come together in unity to increase awareness.

Every year, millions of people face mental health conditions. Although mental illness affects everyone directly or indirectly through family, friends, and loved ones - stigma and misunderstanding persist. For this reason, we continue to educate our communities, increase awareness, and fight to end stigma.

Swipe left for a list of mental health resources!

Stand with us. Let's increase awareness and end the stigma together. Visit our website (link in bio!) to learn more about The Elgin Foundation for Wellness and donate to this cause!

✨💞One conversation about mental illness and su***de can change a life. The Elgin Foundation for Wellness loves you and is here for you! You are not alone!💞✨

If you or someone you know is in crisis, know that help is available 24/7 in the U.S. You can call the National Su***de Prevention Lifeline at 988 and speak to a trained counselor. If you’re uncomfortable talking on the phone, text the word "NAMI" to 741-741 to be connected to the Crisis Text Line.
