From the classroom to the playground 💙

Jonathan Louis Furniture Company made a big impact at 112th Street Elementary with a 2-part beautification effort. From refreshing the teacher’s lounge to creating staff appreciation bags and adding new playground visuals, their support brought care and energy to the entire school community.

One of the most meaningful moments was their time spent connecting with the school’s Junior Coaches, experiencing firsthand the leadership and energy they bring to the playground each day.

Jefferson Elementary brought families onto the playground for a recent Parent Play Day with Playworks.

More than 45 parents joined students during recess, with a standout moment being a parents vs. students castle ball game that had everyone moving, laughing, and connecting.

Thank you to our AmeriCorps Coaches, Principal Estrada, and the Jefferson team for creating such a welcoming experience for families.

Playworks had the opportunity to support students at Marquez Elementary with a recess experience centered on connection, movement, and joy 💙.

We are grateful to the Will & Cara Catching Hope Foundation for supporting the Marquez school community and helping create moments of care and encouragement for students.

Through group icebreakers, games, fun cheers, and an incredible team of Playworks trainers, students experienced the power of play in action.
