TODAY IS DAY ONE OF THE PROVERBS PROJECT! 🔥 🔥

While we are locking in on the young people with this project, we would like everyone to join in, as we will be teaching and preaching from the Proverbs this month!

This book is 🔥🔥🔥

Day 1 👉🏽 Proverbs Chapter 1!

We want to encourage everybody as we begin - don’t rush through the reading. Take your time with it. Read it, think about it, reflect on it - and really let the Word speak to you.

Proverbs is an AMAZING book! 🔥 Although many of us have read it numerous times - we’re blown away all over again!! 🤯 There is so much power, and wisdom in this book, and we really believe that over these next 31 days, God is going to show us things, remind us of things, correct some things, and help us grow in ways we may not even expect.

HELP US LORD!

So let’s start strong today and really give ourselves to it!

Before you read, and as you read, ask God to open your understanding and help you receive everything He wants you to get from His Word.

🔥 THE PROVERBS PROJECT 🔥

"If I Listen To Wisdom!"

Ephesians 1:17 “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom …”

This October, we’re going on a journey through the entire book of Proverbs - 31 chapters. 31 days of reflection, and then we move right into APPLICATION!

Why did God give us the Proverbs? … and what are we supposed to get out of these writings?

Can I really avoid danger?
Can I truly start making better decisions?
Can I learn how to control my mouth?
Can I recognize the wrong people before they pull me in the wrong direction?
Can I learn how to handle money, temptation, correction, relationships, and responsibility?
Can I become the kind of person who sees trouble coming, and has enough wisdom to stay out of it?

The answer Proverbs continually gives us is: YES... If we will listen to wisdom.

The goal is bigger than simply reading a chapter every day. We want to slow down, understand what Solomon is teaching, recognize the choices wisdom requires, and learn how to apply God’s Word to real life.

Proverbs deals with the things we are all facing RIGHT NOW: friendships, temptation, relationships, speech, anger, discipline, money, decision-making, purity, character, correction, work ethic, and the fear of the Lord.

If you wanted to sum up Proverbs in just a few words:

🔥 REAL WISDOM. REAL LIFE.

Every chapter in The Proverbs Project has been put together to make the Word engaging, understandable, memorable, and practical - while still keeping SCRIPTURE at the center of everything.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

Our prayer is that when October is over, we won’t simply be able to say:

“I read Proverbs.”

We want to be able to say:

🔥 “I GREW IN WISDOM.” 🙏🏽
