Wounded War Heroes MS Deer Hunt Started in 2016 we wanted to show wounded vets a little more. 10 vets from the WWH organization show up for an all inclusive 4 day hunt.

🚨 Announcement update🚨

What started out has a simple visit to the WWH tent at the Houma Oilmans rodeo in Cocodrie in 2016, has grown to a hunt that's having its 11th annual this yr. Alfred always had a place for veterans in his heart. His ex father in law was a POW in Korea for 37 mths. He would hear of the stories he had endured and difficults he had with PTSD. So in 2016 Alfred, Bobbie, and Mickey teamed up to bring 10 WWH Vets deer hunt. Alfred always made sure he was hunting with the vets because if he had a deer it would go towards the meat pot for the vets to go home with, no matter the size! Through the years the event grew with more donations and people volunteering, he was looking forward to next year as soon as the current one ended. His final hunt he made it a mission to be there while fighting cancer and on the friday before the WWH hunt started he killed his last deer on his last hunt. That deer went into the meat pot one final time.

In his honor, we will now forever be known as the Alfred Duplantis Memorial Veteran Hunt.
